Well it was very funny! It reminded me of one day when I had to explain my grandma how the computer works! She could not understand why I was able to watch videos or read "letters" from my computer. Thanks Liliana! This is such a great idea! See you! Maria
extremely funny!!! I really enjoyed it!! it reminds me of a person called candela who was (and sometimes is) not interested in technology. she looks like the man who didn´t know how to open the book!! thanks Liliana!! see you soon!! candy
Amasing indeed!!! I´m very much identify with it since whenever I´ve to work on the PC I need step by step instructions!!! I hope I can cope well with it soon!!! See you! Bibi
Very funny!!! It reminded me of my mother when she wanted to learn how to use the computer... After some explanations she told me... "no, no Luci... this is too much for me!!!! Thanks Liliana for this opportunity to share ours comments!!! See you soon! Luci
Hi Liliana! I really enjoyed watching this video. It was hilarious. It reminds me of the time when one of my friends explained me how to search for information or download music on the internet. It was hard for me to understand what my friend said but then, I could cope well with this useful tool. Thanks Liliana for giving us the opportunity to express our opinions and thoughts! See you soon.
Hello everybody!! I really enojoyed tha video, very funny! I also read the comments each of you made (my classmates) and I realized most of you felt identified with this person or have a relative who has problems with technology...don't worry! my grandmother is 72 and she's in front of the PC all the time!I have a ciber-grandma!! jaja see us on Monday people!Belu
p/d: thanks Lily for this opportunity, I like the message you left!
Excellent video!!!! It is very very funny! I find the situation in the video really common nowadays. There many people who don’t know how to use a computer yet, or a cell phone, or a MP 3, for example, and they need our help. Personally, I consider this is a process; when you get used to working with something, then it becomes easier to use. This has always happened!
haha! Yes, technonology creates neoanalphabets unless you keep updated, and sometimes it's kind of hard but necesary!! Any way, using hightech is not the only way of dealing with information, but I have to admit that internet is great, it's like having an endless library in front of your eyes!! :)
What a nice video!!!! It makes me laugh a lot!!!!I think that it`s a funny and original way of explaning what is happening with technology today. Many people (including myself)are afraid of using things they do not understand at first sight. Thanks a lot Liliana for makes (and forced jeje)us work with technology. Otherwise, I wouldn`t be part of a blog!!!! Sofía Galoppo
Hi guys!!! It seems the video has reminded most of you of other people rather than yourselves. Well... that's good to know! It implies that probably, because of your ages, most of you feel comfortable working with technology! Way to go! Let's make the most of it for our class and for your future use as teachers.
I couldn't help posting this poem. It is in keeping with the spirit of the monk's video. Hope you enjoy it! Congrats on the blog, I'll keep checking it to see what's new!
The Good Old Days
A computer was something on TV From a science fiction show of note A window was something you hated to clean And ram was the cousin of a goat.
Meg was the name of my girlfriend And gig was a job for the nights Now they all mean different things And that really mega bytes.
An application was for employment A program was a TV show A curser used profanity A keyboard was a piano.
Memory was something you lost with age A CD was a bank account And if you had a 3-in. floppy You hoped nobody found out.
Compress was something you did to the trash Not something you did to a file And if you unzipped anything in public You'd be in jail for a while.
Log on was adding wood to the fire Hard drive was a long trip on the road A mouse pad was where a mouse lived And a backup happened to your commode.
Cut you did with a pocket knife And paste you did with glue A web was simply a spider's home And a virus was just the flu.
I guess I'll stick to my pad and paper And the memory that's in my head I hear nobody's been killed in a computer crash But when it happens they'll wish they were dead.
Both the poem and the video are very funny! It reminds me the first time I entered this blog.It was not as funny as the video of course. Although I curse the teacher who forced us to use it, I´ve learned a lot. OMAR
The video is really funny, it is true that people usually find new things difficult at first, but with patience, everything can be learnt. For example, my granfather (just as belen grandmother) is 85 years old and he uses the computer, and since he is deaf (and doesn't live here) we comunicate thru e mails, and it is actually easier! kisses Sofi Calvinho

Funny! Reminds me of Monty Python's kind of humour. Here's the first scene from Monty Python's Holy Grail:
